Like the rest of us, Princess Eugenie is beyond thrilled by her sister's recent royal baby news.

Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi announced earlier this month they are set to welcome their second child together in March or April next year.

But for mum-of-two Eugenie, the new bub means getting to share a special time with her big sister, as they have navigated motherhood at the same time.

"When your children are the same age and they're going through the same things, it's just the luckiest thing in the world," Princess Eugenie told Hello! magazine.

"And Bea's my big sister, I talk to her about everything."

And by "everything" the 34-year-old means their kids' "meltdowns" as well as her social media posts on certain occasions.

Beatrice doesn't share on social media very often but Eugenie is active on Instagram and admitted her post about Beatrice's pregnancy was something the sisters workshopped together.

"I rang her, and I was like, 'What do you want me to say?' Because I always want to ask, just in case," the Princess of York told the UK outlet.

"And she said, 'Can't wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood'."

In the end, Princess Eugenie used those words in her caption, which was uploaded alongside a carousel of photos from Christmas 2022.

"Congratulations Beabea.. So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang," she wrote.
