Even Prince William thinks Princess Charlotte is his doppelgänger

Prince William has mistaken a photo of himself as a child for his daughter Princess Charlotte.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting Khidmat community centre in Bradford when they were show a cupcake display by a company called Cup Caker Bradford.

Some of the cupcakes included photos of the royal couple as adults and as children.

While taking a closer at the sweet treats, Prince William looked at one containing a photo of himself as a child and said: "Oh my goodness that looks just like Charlotte. It's incredible, I haven't seen that before.

The cup cake display was by baker Siama Ali and Prince William called the display "incredible" and "so clever".

"There's a definite feeling of cake in Bradford," he added. "Seen a lot of cake today."

It is true, the photo of William as a child does resemble Princess Charlotte, four.

Royal reporter Emily Andrews shared the moment on Twitter, saying that while it's hard to hear, Prince William is struck by the resemblance, turning to Kate and saying: "Doesn't that look like Charlotte?"

And she responds, "It looks so much like Charlotte, that's so funny."

You can also hear the Prince clearly say "Oh my goodness."

The clip ends with William praising the cake maker once again.

"Amazing," he says. "Honestly, Mary Berry would be very impressed."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have three children - Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one.

Over the years, fans have pointed out Charlotte's resemblance to various family members, namely the Queen, Princess Diana, and Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer.

Upon arrival at Bradford while greeting crowds, a royal fan asked Kate if she was planning to have more children.

She responded: "I don't think William wants any more."

It's a shame, because they sure make cute kids!
