Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has marked the couple's third anniversary, sharing a previously unseen wedding photo on Instagram.

It was part of a series in tribute to his wife, the first photo showing Princess Beatrice seated in a carriage, arriving at Royal Ascot earlier this year.

The second captures Beatrice's hand clasping her wedding bouquet, her wedding ring visible. And the third photo is focused on the flower display from their wedding.

The photo showing Princess Beatrice's wedding band had never been seen before, until now.

Eduardo accompanied the photos with the message: "Happy wedding anniversary to the most beautiful wife in the world. I am so grateful for every moment we have shared, every challenge we have overcome, and every dream we have pursued together.

"I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries with you."

His post was quickly flooded with congratulations for the couple.

Princess Beatrice, 34, and Edoardo, 39, were wed on June 17, 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The couple were forced to cancel plans for a lavish ceremony and reception in favour of a small gathering at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

It is understood Beatrice was reluctant to postpone their nuptials due to the ailing health of her grandparents, in particular Prince Philip who died the following year.
