Prince William returns to his old school

Prince William has returned to his old school - Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, which he attended in 2006.

The Duke of Cambridge stepped in for The Queen to inspect those "passing out" of the school.

Giving a very personal speech at the Sovereign's Parade, marking the graduation of troops from the academy, recalling his own big day.

"It is almost 12 years ago to the day that I stood where you are.

"I remember the deep sense of pride that came from passing out of one of the finest military academies in the world."

The 36-year-old, dressed in full uniform, also reassured them of their abilities.
