Will and Kate's umbrella moment reminds us of Harry and Meghan
A rainy day at Royal Ascot has given fans a touching moment between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who took shelter under an umbrella.
Prince William was pictured holding a big black umbrella over his wife, Kate as they mingled with other members of the British royal family.
They had just finished doing a lap around the iconic racecourse in horse-drawn carriages, for day one of the meeting.

Cloudy skies kept many racegoers worried and, sure enough, soon after the royals had done their procession the rain came down – which is to be expected from the weather in the UK.
But the wet weather didn't dampen the spirits of William and Kate, with William shielding his wife from the showers with an umbrella, while continuing to chat with his relatives gathered on the lawn.
The sweet gesture reminded us of an iconic moment from Prince Harry and Meghan's royal tour of Australia, in October.

During a visit to drought-ravaged Dubbo, in New South Wales, the heavens unexpectedly opened sending a downpour over the thousands of fans crowed into a park to see the couple.
The Duke of Sussex was due to give a speech and didn't disappoint – he stepped up to the podium as the torrential rain came down from above.
Meghan, ever the dutiful wife, held an umbrella over Harry as he spoke, ensuring he would stay as dry as possible. That she held the umbrella, rather than one of the couple's many minders, endeared Meghan, even more so, to her fans.

Harry and Meghan weren't at Royal Ascot for day one and it's unlikely the Duchess will appear at the meeting at all, due to her being on maternity leave.
Tuesday's Royal Ascot saw Her Majesty joined by Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne and Zara Tindall.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, of the Netherlands, were also present one day after attending Garter Day with Queen Elizabeth.
