Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share a kiss after charity polo match

Royal polo matches traditionally mean a rare public display of affection during the trophy presentations after the game.

After Prince William's victory in the Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022 on Wednesday, he pulled his wife into an embrace, as Kate Middleton appeared to offer her congratulations to her husband.

Still wearing his polo uniform, the Duke of Cambridge kissed the Duchess on both cheeks during the presentation at Guards Polo Club in Windsor.

Earlier the pair arrived at the polo club at Flemish Farm with their sunglasses on for the warm summer's day. Kate donned the same Finlay Henrietta sunglasses seen at Wimbledon earlier in the week.

Prince William was casually dressed in a blue shirt and white jeans with sneakers on before changing into his uniform for the match.

Kate looked elegant in a white sleeveless dress with black piping by one of her go-to designers, Emilia Wickstead.

The cloqué dress comes belted but the royal opted out of cinching in at the waist for a more relaxed fit for the outing.

The £1,350 ($2370) Denvella dress is from a previous season and has been worn by other celebrities, including Ivanka Trump.

The Duchess of Cambridge added pointed-toe black and beige £195 ($343) flats by British designer Camilla Elphick.

The Out-Sourcing Inc Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022 raised £1 million ($1.75 million) and awareness for 10 charities supported by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

These include: SHOUT, the Foundling Museum, the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, London's Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, the Anna Freud Centre, Family Action, the Forward Trust, East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH) and the Passage.

It's reported the couple's two-year-old black labrador Orla joined the outing, near their rumoured new home of Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Their three kids - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - who have previously been seen enjoying the polo with their parents, were not at this charity event.
