Robert Irwin's latest move with Prince and Princess of Wales after reported Meghan 'snub'
The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have teamed up with Robert Irwin for a special task.
The Wales family named Australia Zoo's new eastern grey kangaroo joey, the news coming days after reports claimed the Irwins 'snubbed' Prince Harry and Meghan during their Australia tour.
Irwin announced the joey's name, Cwtch, in a joint Instagram post with the royals. He explained the name, pronounced kutch, is Welsh for cuddle.

"[Cwtch] is the absolute perfect name for a joey kangaroo, 'cause at this age, they love a cuddle and they spend most of their time inside that pouch with their mum," he said.
"Cwtch is now proudly part of our family here at Australia Zoo."
Irwin gave a special thanks to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis for coming up with the name.

The wildlife warror said he invited the royal family to help name the joey in an effort to highlight global conservation efforts.
"Thank you for your support with our wildlife conservation efforts. It is so important that we conserve all of our animals, including the icons, the kangaroos," he continued.
"These guys play a very important role in the Australian bush, and out there in the ecosystem, they are just crucial.

"With all of the animals that we support and all of the wildlife conservation efforts that we have around the world, it's all about making sure we give back to the wildlife and the wild places where they live."
Prince William is a well-known advocate for wildlife conservation through The Earthshot Prize, an initiative he created to help find solutions to environmental challenges.
Irwin has previously worked with William on environmental-focused projects, with Irwin an ambassador of William's Earthshot Prize.
The royals' latest project with Irwin comes weeks after a report claimed the Irwin family 'politely declined' an invitation to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their trip Down Under.
New Idea claimed Robert was the one who "politely passed" on meeting up with Prince Harry and Meghan, as he didn't want to "upset" his friend William.
"They meant no ill will towards the Sussexes, but at the end of the day, they are all staunch monarchists and fiercely loyal to The Firm," a source told the outlet.

The magazine claimed Meghan wanted to meet the Irwins as a chance to connect with the family, and "wanted to sound them out about potentially working together, or even involving her kids in any upcoming Wildlife Warrior missions one day".
Neither the Irwins nor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly addressed the claims.
