Prince William shares origin story behind his forehead scar
Royal fans may not have noticed the faded scar on Prince William's forehead, located above his left eyebrow.
William, 41, has now explained how he got it during a recent visit to Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The Prince of Wales was at the university as part of his conservation work, learning about how businesses and organisations are utilising seaweed.

The royal was speaking with Pierre Paslier, co-founder of Notpla, which supplies seaweed packaging to major sporting and music venues.
William picked up a seaweed-produced golf tee, which biodegrade and fertilise greens.
Paslier asked William if he played and the royal responded, "No, the last time I played golf..." and pointed to his scar.

It was in 1991 when Prince William was eight that he was struck in the head with a golf club while playing with friends while attending Ludgrove Prepatory school in Wokingham.
He spoke about the injury during a BBC interview 18 years later.
"I got hit by a golf club when I was playing golf with a friend of mine," he said.

"We were on a putting green and the next thing you know there was a seven-iron and it came out of nowhere and it hit me in the head."
He said the scar sometimes "glows" like Harry Potter's famous lightning bold scar.
"It glows sometimes and some people notice it, other times they don't notice it at all," he added.
Prince William has been keeping up a blistering pace of engagements of late, while the Princess of Wales takes time out for cancer treatment.

This week he visited with England's football team ahead of Euro 2024, which kicks off this weekend.
He was also usher at his close friend Hugh Grosvenor's wedding to Olivia Henson on June 7.

The royal will join King Charles and Queen Camilla at Trooping the Colour on June 15. Catherine won't be in attendance however the couple's three children are expected to be there.
