Prince Louis of Luxembourg's ex-wife reacts to royal engagement news

A former princess of Luxembourg, now Tessy Antony de Nassau, has reacted to the news of her ex-husband's engagement.

The couple — who wed in 2006, split in 2017 and divorced in 2019 — share two sons together, Prince Gabriel, 15, and Prince Noah, 13.

Following news Prince Louis of Luxembourg got engaged to girlfriend Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a message of congratulations.

"Finally it's out too," she wrote above the official engagement photo shared on her story.

"Gabe, Noah, Frank and I are so happy for you both and wish you only the best and much happiness."

Tessy recently announced her own engagement to Frank Floessel, a Swiss businessman.

They announced their engagement on New Year's Eve on holiday to Switzerland and revealed in February they were expecting their first child together.

Sharing two photos on Instragram, including one with her hands on her blossoming pregnancy bump, Tessy captioned the post: "Spring is the perfect time for delicate flowers to grow".

Scarlett-Lauren and Prince Louis went public with their relationship at an awards show last year.

Then they went "Instagram official" around Christmas, with a sweet snap shared by the now-bride-to-be.

Prince Louis is the third son of the Grand Duke and Duchess but gave up his succession rights and those of his descendants upon his first marriage.

The couple is yet to announce a wedding date.
