Prince Harry to join 'all-star lineup' for veteran event as part of Remembrance Day
Prince Harry will join an all-star lineup to honour veterans and their families following Remembrance Day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are based in California in the United States after splitting with the British royal family, leaving Harry to find new ways to mark Remembrance Day this year.
The 'Stand Up for Heroes' event will be held on will run online on November 18 at 9 pm eastern time in the US.
The website for the event explains it will be a virtual event for the public, available on TikTok, Facebook, Cheddar and Twitch. It lists, "Bruce Springsteen with special guests including Jeannie Gaffigan, Prince Harry The Duke of Sussex, Ray Romano, and more" as headlining the event.

Jon Stewart, Brad Paisley and Tiffany Haddish will also appear at the event.
Organisers of the event describe it as an "annual night of hope, healing, and laughter, featuring a star-studded line-up and inspirational veteran stories".

It has been organised by the Bob Woodruff Foundation which helps support post-9/11 impacted veterans, service members, their families and caregivers.
Prince Harry served with the British army for 10 years, rising to the rank of Captain and joining two tours of Afghanistan. Since leaving the military Harry has worked to support fellow servicemen and veterans in any way he can.
He launched the Invictus Games in 2014, an annual event which sees servicemen and veterans compete in a number of sports.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to mark Remembrance Day this year by laying flowers on the graves of fallen soldiers at the Los Angeles National Cemetery, having missed out on the British royal family's London service following their resignation as senior royals.

It was reported that Prince Harry asked his family to lay a wreath on his behalf during their official service but that the request was denied.
Queen Elizabeth was joined by Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex for the service at Cenotaph in London's Whitehall.
