Prince Harry is heading overseas again, weeks after son's birth

The Duke of Sussex is planning another overseas visit, just weeks after the birth of his first child.

Prince Harry jetted off to The Hague, in the Netherlands, three days after Archie Harrison was born to launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020.

Now, he's due to visit Italy at the end of the month for another cause close to his heart.

Harry, 34, will play in Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, in Rome.

It's the flagship event for Sentebale, a charity co-founded by the Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso in 2006, following Prince Harry’s gap year to Lesotho in 2004.

The polo match, on May 24, will raise money and awareness of the charity's work which supports young people whose lives have been affected by HIV in southern Africa.

Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines when they kissed during the cup's trophy presentation, at the Berkshire Polo Club.

Sentebale ambassador and Argentine player, Ignacio 'Nacho' Figueras, had the last laugh when he photobombed the moment, later sharing the image to his Instagram page.

Figueras, who is a close friend of Harry's, will be joining the Duke on the field as captain of the Sentebale St. Regis Team.

Polo has long been a favourite sport of Prince Harry's. In May 2017, his then-girlfriend Meghan Markle was spotted watching him play from the sidelines at a charity match. They announced their engagement six months later, in November.

Meghan will not join her husband for the visit to Italy, though. She'll remain at Frogmore Cottage with baby Archie and her mother, Doria Ragland.
