Prince Harry reveals the interesting conversation that led Prince Archie to ask for photos of 'Grandma Diana'
Prince Harry has shared a sweet tidbit about his five-year-old son Archie.
During the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver Canada, Harry said he and his firstborn recently had a conversation about landmines, which led to an opportunity to talk to his son about his late mum, Princess Diana.
"Archie was asking about landmines, so I was talking about these guys," the Duke of Sussex began.

"But then I found myself talking with him about mines at five years old, and interestingly it gave me a chance to talk about my mum, his grandma, which I didn't even really consider.
"So that became the outcome of the story for him."
Prince Harry said he showed Archie some videos, which led him to ask to see more photos of "Grandma Diana".
"So it produced a very interesting conversation between me and him, different from what I thought it was going to be."
While the landmine segue may seem random, Princess Diana worked closely with The Halo Trust, which worked to clear landmines and other explosive devices left behind in areas of conflict.

Twenty-two years later, Prince Harry returned to the same location to follow in his mother's footsteps.
In December 2024, the royal shared that his late mum would have "wanted" him to relocate to the US to raise his children, a move that has been widely controversial among royal fans.

"I'm hugely grateful for that."
