Prince Harry has released a new video addressing critical environmental and sustainability challenges, as part of his work with travel initiative Travalyst.

The video has been shared as part of London Climate Action Week 2026 (June 20-28) and pits him against brother Prince William, who has been busy spruiking his own environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize, with ambassador Robert Irwin.

The Duke of Sussex began the video by saying: “Today, travel stands at a crossroads. It can be a catalyst for positive change, but also, a cause for environmental strain, driving emissions, overwhelming destinations, depleting the natural world it depends on.”

He then spoke about how “Travalyst is building something different”, outlining the organisations current initiatives which Harry said will help to “drive change”.

The royal ended the video by saying: “We have the power to change travel for good.”

Prince William and Prince Harry both continue their father King Charles’ conservation and environmental work thought their own organisations.

Earlier this week Prince William and Robert Irwin travelled to London’s Guildhall aboard an electric bus ahead of The Earthshot Prize Impact Assembly, where the Prince of Wales met with innovators, investors and leaders who are supporting the environmental initiative he founded in 2020.

The Earthshot Prize 2026 will take place in Mumbai, India, this November, and will see awards handed out for environmental innovations from around the world.

Harry launched Travalyst in September 2019, just four months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would no longer be full time working royals. The couple moved to the US in 2020 where the currently reside with their children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, in Montecito in California.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly planning to return to the UK with their children for the first time since Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

It isn’t known if members of the royal family will join them at the event.

Tensions remain between Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles, but in particular with Prince William, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared intimate details of their falling out with the royals in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, during a Netflix documentary, and in Prince Harry’s best-selling memoir Spare.
