New details about Harry and Meghan's Netflix deal revealed as they move into world of rom-coms
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are set to go into production of a new scripted show for Netflix via their production company, Archewell Productions.
First up on the list is a currently untitled series set in the world of polo. The show will take place in Wellington, Florida, following the story of two rival teams and the families that run them.
Deadline reports that writer Francisca X Hu, known for her work on Dynasty, will be acting as writer and executive producer on the series, alongside Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44.

This news comes two years after the release of Archewell and Netflix's 2024 documentary series Polo, which provided a behind-the-scenes look into the lives of professional polo players such as Nacho Figueras, the Sussexes' close friend, among others.
The couple will also be dipping their toes into the world of rom-coms, with adaptations of Jasmine Guillory's book The Wedding Date and Carley Fortune's book Meet Me at the Lake both underway, with the latter having a director attached.
The new projects come under their new first-look deal with Netflix, which gives the company the first pick on whether to pick or pass on projects by Archewell Productions.

Previously, the couple had signed a five-year private commercial deal with the streaming giant ending last year, under which they produced shows such as Harry and Meghan, Polo, Heart of Invictus, and With Love, Meghan.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that With Love, Meghan failed to make the top 1,000 most-watched programs on the streaming platform. Meghan's lifestyle company, As Ever, has since cut ties with Netflix, allowing her to take "complete control".
It was reported that the Duchess of Sussex was frustrated with the "cautious" approach of the show while she was keen to expand it globally. She has since targeted Australia as the next market to tackle with her brand.

Meghan will be Down Under next month for a four-day visit with Prince Harry, their first visit to Australia in eight years.
Ahead of their arrival, the 44-year-old has trademarked her As ever lifestyle products, which include jam, flower sprinkles, candles, and wine.
According to Australian intellectual property office records, Meghan's trademark was accepted in June, 2025, under the description "fancy".
The brand has been trademarked across a number of categories that will eventually allow the duchess to sell more items.
The products that are expected to be launched in the near future include skincare and self-care products, bath and shower products, jewellery, furniture, yoga straps, pet feeding mats, jewellery, furniture and gardening tools.
Other trademarked products include podcasts and "educational seminars".
