Prince Harry says 'I was anxious about 30, I'm excited about 40' in new statement ahead of milestone birthday

Prince Harry says he is "excited" for his upcoming milestone birthday, in a new statement released overnight.

The Duke of Sussex, who turns 40 on Sunday, admitted he doesn't feel the same anxiety he did when going into his 30s, as he reflected on how his life has changed in the decade since.

"I was anxious about 30, I'm excited about 40," he told the BBC, in a statement released through an Archewell spokesperson.

"Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world".

Prince Harry's Invictus Games, started in 2014 - the year he turned 30 - is this year marking it's 10th anniversary as it continues to bring together injured servicemen and women through the sporting competition.
