Prince Charles's secret visit to MI6 revealed
Prince Charles made a secret visit this week to the UK Secret Intelligence Service, better known as MI6.
The Prince of Wales, who is Patron of the intelligence agencies, met with secret service chief Richard Moore as well as staff to thank them for the work they're doing.
Moore first announced the visit in a tweet on Thursday (11pm AEDT), alongside an image of the pair.
"Honour to host our Patron, HRH Prince of Wales in MI6 this week. Great to see him meet the teams and hear about the important work they've been doing.

"Thank you @ClarenceHouse for visiting."
Soon after Clarence House shared the same image on social media, adding: "The Prince became Royal Patron of the Intelligence Agencies in 2011."

It's been a busy week for the heir-to-the-throne, who attended a reception hosted by the Queen at Windsor Castle on Tuesday for the Global Investment Summit.
Then on Wednesday, the Prince of Wales conducted some investitures with culinary queen Mary Berry receiving her damehood and former First Man Philip May, the husband of the previous UK Prime Minister Theresa May, knighted for his contribution to politics.
