Prince Andrew and King Charles are butting heads over plans for Andrew, 63, to move out of the Royal Lodge, his home of the past 20 years, to make way for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The plan is for Andrew to move into nearby Frogmore Cottage which was vacated by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ahead of their departure to the US.

Friends of Prince Andrew have told The Sun he is determined to stay in the Royal Lodge and isn't happy to move.

"If Charles wants Andrew to play ball and help the family, aren't there better ways of going about it?" a friend told the publication.

"Why not do the decent thing, sit down and talk? If they need the house for William, perhaps Andrew should be told. Perhaps William should invite his uncle for tea and explain?
