Insider reveals Andrew's relationship with daughters after scandal

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is reportedly still in close contact with his daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice despite stepping down from the royal family.

The former Prince, 65, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, 66, were not invited to join the royal family on their annual Christmas walk at their Sandringham estate.

However, their daughters, Eugenie, 35, and Beatrice, 37, are still very much part of the royal fold, supporting each other as they faced the public in the wake of the scandal.

Now, a source reveals that Andrew is reportedly isolating himself from the world – though he has made an exception for his immediate family.

A source told Hello Magazine, "Andrew has stopped getting newspapers or reading anything. He's in his own bubble. The girls do see him. Sarah is still very upset at everything that has happened."

The source says that the former Duke and Duchess of York are due to be evicted from their home of over two decades, Royal Lodge, on January 25.

Andrew will likely be moving to Marsh Farm, an uninhabitable yet working farm on the Sandringham estate.

Work has started on reviving the property, with the Daily Mail reporting workers have begun renovating the inside and six-foot wooden fences have been placed around the home for more privacy.

Also seen working on the property were electricians installing CCTV cameras, a JCB digger, six workmen going into the detached property, and a van from a specialist security company.

The work on Marsh Farm is expected to take until at least Easter, with the royal moving temporarily into a smaller property on his brother King Charles' Norfolk estate as early as the end of this month.

The Sun has also reported the sight of removal trucks entering the grounds of the Royal Lodge on January 14 (January 15 AEDT), indicating he and Ferguson are getting ready to move.

However, the insider shared that Ferguson will reportedly not be joining her ex-husband at Marsh Farm.

They added that she will also not be moving in with her daughters, though she may use Eugenie's home in Portugal as a rest-stop until she finds something more permanent.
