Either the royals are dipping into each other's wardrobes or they've been shopping in the same stores, because there have been not one, but two 'twinning' moments within the monarchy in recent months.

Meghan Markle recently attended the launch of a charity cookbook with women affected by the Grenfell fire, choosing a black skirt designed by her friend Misha Nonoo for the occasion.

As it turns out, Princess Beatrice – Prince Harry’s cousin - wore the exact same skirt for a public appearance just a day beforehand.

While the Duchess of Sussex had completed her look with a blue Smythe coat and black leather pumps by Sarah Flint, Beatrice teamed the skirt, which retails for $250, with a tan coat and flat sandals.

She’s not the only member of the Royal Family who shares Meghan's taste in fashion.

The Duchess of Sussex has previously been spotted wearing similar outfits to Kate Middleton.

In another more recent 'twinning' moment, Princess Eugenie – Beatrice’s younger sister - wore the same Aquazzura heels as Meghan during a night out with fiance Jack Brooksbank earlier this year.

The crisscross suede pumps were notably worn by the Duchess of Sussex when she and Prince Harry announced their engagement last November.

Meghan paired hers with a white coat by Canadian brand LINE and a forest green dress by P.A.R.O.S.H.

Princess Eugenie also chose a green dress to wear with the heels - along with a beige handbag - while attending evening honouring Nelson Mandela's 100th birthday.

Meghan has been a fan of Aquazzura for a long time, wearing a white satin pair of the Italian brand’s heels with her Stella McCartney dress during her evening wedding reception at Frogmore House on May 19.

Princess Charlotte, three, was also spotted wearing Aquazzurra ‘Mary Janes’ at Meghan’s wedding.

The Princess of York will be married in the same location as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex -- St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle -- on October 12.

As we saw on May 19, 1200 members of the public will attend Princess Eugenie's wedding, and the newlyweds will be taken on a carriage ride through Windsor following the ceremony, though their route will be shorter than Harry and Meghan’s.
