One of the main reasons the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved from the UK to the US was to shield their children from the media but now Meghan has shared more photos of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to her Instagram – while promoting her Netflix show.

The duchess has revealed several behind the scenes photos from filming of With Love, Meghan which returned to to screens last week.

The second season of the show did not feature the Sussex children or Prince Harry, instead they were referred to by name by Meghan throughout nearly all eight episodes.

The duke was in a number of previously unseen photos, including from their evening wedding reception at Frogmore House and during their camping trip to Botswana in the early days of their relationship.

A week on from the premier of Season 2, Meghan posted three photos showing Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, on set as they watched filming.

The first image features the children looking at a monitor and listening with earphones with Meghan on the small screen.

Prince Archie is wearing a red t-shirt with the GB Soccer School logo, a training academy based in Los Angeles. Its logo features the initials 'GB' in style of the Union Flag.

Another photo has Lilibet sitting on a director's chair with Meghan's dog Guy at her feet as makeup artist, and episode one guest Daniel Martin, peeks through the door.

"Filming season two of 'With Love, Meghan' was more fun than you can imagine," the Duchess of Sussex captioned the newly-shared photos.

One included a set list of music featured in season two and some of the duchess' "favourites".

"Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music. Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favourites I kept on rotation!

"Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard."

Meghan previously spoke about how her children would often join her on set during the long days of filming.

"They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share," she told People.

"I hope that when they get old enough, they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me."

"I wanted to protect that safe haven," the duchess said.

"We're a close-knit family, and I love those moments – putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day," Meghan told People.

"Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that's a lot of people to have in your house."

It's unclear when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be seen together in public again but Prince Harry is due to return to the UK next week.

He will attend the WellChild Awards on September 8, which also happens to be the third anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

It's unlikely the duchess and their children will join the duke in the UK after the UK's High Court ruled he would not have his government-funded police protection reinstated.

There is also speculation Prince Harry could see his father King Charles face-to-face for the first time in nearly two years.
