Meghan returns to acting in bizarre, but funny, hidden camera stunt on Ellen

Meghan has shown off her acting skills in a rather bizarre, but amusing, hidden camera stunt on Ellen.

The Duchess of Sussex asked DeGeneres if she could take part in one of the show's hidden camera games, where guests wear an earpiece and must say everything they are told to by the host.

Meghan was tasked with pretending to be a shopper at a stall where vendors had set up near the Warner Bros lot.

She was also given a purse but had no idea what was inside.

A show's writer was pretending to Meghan's assistant, who told the vendors the Duchess was there to shop just like every other person and for them to "treat her normally".

It was Meghan's first stint at acting since she quit her career to marry Prince Harry.

The Duchess was instructed by DeGeneres to do a squat as the stunt got underway.

Meghan proceeded to touch all the items on display frantically, declaring "I haven't been shopping for a while and I've missed it".

"I have healing powers," Meghan tells the bewildered shop keeper selling crystals, before pausing in a moment of silence and holding up a crystal and then chanting.

She moves on to a table of hot sauces and says to the vendor, "let mummy taste some" and "my boo loves hot sauce".

And it just gets weirder.

Meghan jumps with delight as she eats the hot sauce while pretending to be a chipmunk and says, "mummy wants some heat".

She then shoves it all into her mouth and drinks from a carton of milk that DeGeneres had hidden in her handbag.

Meghan then tries a cookie and is instructed by DeGeneres to eat it super fast, and speaks with her mouth full.

She then takes out some cat ears from her bag, puts them on and while pretending to be a kitten, sings to the vendors while meowing.

Moments later, DeGeneres herself appears and explained to the stunned vendors that the whole thing was in fact a hidden camera stunt for the show.
