Meghan Markle celebrates girl power on 42nd birthday
What does a royal plan to do on their birthday? Well, it seems they celebrate just like anyone else is right now.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex used the occasion of her 42nd birthday to celebrate her womanhood, taking the time to catch one of the most anticipated films of the year, Barbie.
The royal was spotted heading out with her friends earlier this week to watch the flick, sans husband Prince Harry and her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, according to Page Six.

The group of girlfriends, including Portia De Rossi, wife of Ellen DeGeneres, headed to a Santa Barbara theater to catch the girl-power film, says the publication.
The Suits actress continued the festivities, joining friends at the San Ysidro Ranch hotel in Santa Barbara on Monday night, even popping over to say hello to a group of women celebrating a bachelorette party.
An onlooker told the publication that "Meghan went over to wish the bride good luck," taking photos and videos with the bridal party.

But Harry didn't lose out on the loving, having also taken his wife out on a night out on the town to celebrate her milestone. On Wednesday, the pair were spotted on date night at Montecito restaurant, Tre Lune, which is frequented by celebrities.
Meghan wore a $289 black and white strapless maxi dress from Australian brand Posse, while Harry wore a pale blue button-up shirt with white pants.
But the couple will reportedly be spending Friday, the actual day of the Duchess' birthday, with their two children at home.
