Real reason Meghan is not shying away from the cameras

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is gearing up to launch something big in the coming days.

Not only has she claimed an as-yet-launched Instagram account – @meghan – but she is also getting more comfortable in front of the cameras lately.

An inside source told Page Six that Meghan's new venture "will be surprising".

"It won't be what everybody is expecting it to be, it will feel familiar to who Meghan is."

The source says she has decided to make the inevitable media attention she gets work for her, not against her.

"Meghan's not seeking out opportunities to be photographed. But she's realised she has to live her life – none of the cameras are going away."

She and Prince Harry have been criticised for "demanding" privacy, despite making their careers in the public eye with their Netflix docu-series Harry and Meghan and Harry's memoir Spare.

The source said that these projects took a toll on the couple, as they anticipated a lot of backlash.

"Nobody is fighting this whole privacy issue," the insider claimed, "This whole story of 'don't pay attention to us, pay attention to us', it's a total exaggeration, because the crux of Harry and Meghan's move, in the beginning, was mostly spun from the palace that they wanted a more private life."

"They know they'll never have a private life," they said.

The source also rubbished recent rumours of the pair splitting up.

"They're not divorcing, they're not moving. They have more confidence and they're at peace," the source said.

"This is the closest we've seen Harry and Meghan achieve some level of normalcy – ever."
