The Queen's niece Lady Sarah Chatto has marked a special milestone with her husband.

Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto, an actor and artist, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on July 14.

Now 56, Lady Sarah met her future husband while working as a wardrobe assistant on Heat and Dust. Chatto had a small role in the film.

The couple married in 1994, deciding to shun the fuss that comes with a traditional – and large – royal wedding.

Lady Sarah is the daughter of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, Lord Snowdon.

Their religious ceremony was held inside the St. Stephen Walbrook church in London.

The bride wore a Jasper Conran gown and the Snowdon Floral tiara.

The tiara is made of a trio of diamond floral brooches, given to Princess Margaret on her wedding day by Lord Snowdon in 1960.

The brooches were reworked into a tiara especially for Lady Sarah's wedding day.

Lady Sarah also wore a pair of her mother's pearl and diamond earrings, which were a favourite of Princess Margaret's.

She has continued to wear the statement drops ever since after inheriting the jewels when her mother died in 2002.

Lady Sarah wore the pearl earrings to the royal weddings of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018, when Prince William married Kate Middleton in 2011 and for the nuptials of Zara Philips to Mike Tindall later that year.

They are one of the most important heirlooms once owned by Princess Margret, whose jewels are in high demand all these years later.

The antique diamond and enamel bracelet, made by royal jewellers Garrard and Co, was one of the most sought-after items in the Sotheby's Hong Kong's Magnificent Jewels sale on July 10.

After Margaret's passing, Lady Sarah and her brother David Armstrong Jones, the Earl of Snowdon, decided to auction 192 pieces of her jewellery, with money from the sale going towards their own children's educations.

The pieces were sold in 2006 as part of a scandalous $25 million sale of the princess' belongings, which included the tiara Princess Margaret wore on her wedding day.
