Kensington Palace shares one of Kate Middleton's impressive sketch after special royal tour

She's a mother, duchess, and an accomplished artist!

The Duchess of Cambridge, who studied art history at university, once crafted an impressive piece of artwork, that had recently been shared by Kensington Palace.

Having graduated with Upper Second-Class Honours in the subject in 2005, the lifelike sketch shows a landscape portrait of the spectacular St Andrews.

The picture was shared to the couple's social media accounts as Kate and Prince William returned to London after their tour of Scotland.

The post showed the artwork, alongside a typed postcode, which read: "To the people, communities and organisations we visited and heard from; and those who stopped to wave and make our return to Scotland so special - thank you!"

The post was a small token of gratitude for the people who made their tour of Scotland "so special".

Since marrying William in 2011, Kate's interest in art and photography has been well noted and is reflected in her royal patronages including the National Portrait Gallery, The Foundling Museum and The Royal Photographic Society.

Because of Kate's expansive creative talent, she also takes the official photographs of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, for all of their milestone moments and birthdays.

While her husband, Prince William, was enrolled in the same course as his wife in the first year of his university studies, he later switched to Geography, with Kate the creative talent of the two.

The royal couple are said to have met and fallen in love in northeast Scotland, with the country presumably holding a sentimental place in their hearts.

The post comes as the pair have just returned from carrying out official engagements in Scotland, where they attended a number of meetings with local organisations, key workers and school children.
