Kate and William share sweet romantic moment on visit to Bradford

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared some sweet moments during their first official walkabout together in 2020.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Bradford for the day and met a number of locals lining the streets outside City Hall.

Many came bearing flowers for birthday girl Kate, with Wills collecting many of the bunches from people in the crowd to give to his wife.

And Prince William was a single stemmed flower by two kids in pink 'Welcome to Yorkshire' hoodies, the Duke handed over the white rose to the Duchess, with the couple appearing to share a sweet moment in the process.

There were also had a few occasions across the day where they touched each other's backs in tender ways.

While it's not unusual to see public displays of affection (PDAs) from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at official events, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have only recently started to show a more touchy-feely side.

The couple also appear to get competitive while making milkshakes during a visit to Pakistani restaurant My Lahore, reminiscent of their recent cooking competition at Christmas with celebrity chef Mary Berry.

Kate and Wills were seen laughing and joking as they prepared the drinks to their liking.

The mother-of-three celebrated her 38th birthday last week, which was kept low key and spent with her parents Michael and Carole Middleton visiting Kensington Palace.

Kate's birthday was the day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's announcement that they are quitting the royal family to become "financially independent" and split their time between the UK and North America.
