Future King shares first glimpse of newborn baby

Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan has shared an adorable picture of his newborn daughter Princess Iman in a rare candid snap.

The 30-year-old royal was seen proudly looking down at his baby daughter in his arms as they both wore shirts with the crest of Jordan's national soccer team, who are competing in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers match against Iraq.

Hussein's logo is featured on a layered black T-shirt while Iman has hers on her comfy white onesie.

"A little pre game snuggle," read the Arabic portion of the caption which was translated to English, with the English portion reading, "Iman right before the match today."

This photo marks the first time we have been offered a full glimpse of the newest royal's face as one fan remarked, "Oh, finally we see her lovely little face!!!!"

Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa welcomed Iman just three months ago on August 3, 2024.

Since then the royal family has doted on the bub, with everyone from grandma and grandpa – namely Queen Rania and King Abdullah II – and even her namesake aunt Princess Iman sneaking in a cuddle.

Many have asked after the baby's mother, Princess Rajwa, who hasn't been seen on camera after giving birth.

She was absent in the first series of photos shared immediately after the baby's arrival by Hussein and Queen Rania.

Princess Rajwa later appeared in two official photos shared by Crown Prince Hussein as the family left hospital, three days after the baby's birth.

Although Princess Iman is the daughter of a future king, she is not eligible to inherit the throne as the line of succession favours males.
