The girlfriend of Count Nikolai of Monpezat has made her catwalk debut during Denmark's most prestigious fashion event.

Benedikte Thoustrup was chosen to model at Copenhagen Fashion Week, walking for OpéraSPORT's show alongside the city's famous harbour on Monday.

Wearing a white silk dress, made from recycled materials, Thoustrup strutted through the Opera Park, near Copenhagen's famous Opera House.

He often appears on the cover of magazines, including the August issue of Euroman where he spoke about how being born into the Danish royal family has had a significant influence on his clothing choices.

Count Nikolai's first professional job was walking for Burberry during London Fashion Week on February 17, 2018, followed by Dior a year later.

He's been signed with Scoop Models in Denmark since he was 18, after being approached three years earlier.

In September 2023, Nikolai spoke exclusively to 9Honey about his grandmother's decision, admitting it was "still quite a touchy subject".

Nikolai had just moved to Sydney with Thoustrup and the couple spent several months living in Australia while Nikolai was on exchange at the University of Technology.

He graduated from the Copenhagen Business School in June this year and was joined by his mother, Countess Alexandra, and brother Count Felix for the momentous occasion.
