Charlotte Casiraghi channelled her late grandmother Princess Grace of Monaco with her wedding day fashion choices over the weekend.

On Saturday, Casiraghi, 32, wed film producer Dimitri Rassam, 37, in a civil ceremony at Monaco's Prince's Palace.

The first photos of the couple's nuptials have emerged, revealing the eldest daughter of Princess Caroline wore two ensembles for the special occasion.

For her wedding ceremony, the bride wore a short, stone-coloured brocade dress by Yves Saint Laurent, featuring three dramatic bows down the front.

Fashion fans have been quick to point out the design's similarity to the brocade skirt suit worn by Grace Kelly at her own civil ceremony when she wed Prince Rainier in 1956.

Casiraghi—who welcomed her first child with Rassam in October—then changed into an strapless satin Chanel dress ahead of her afternoon reception at luxury hotel Villa la Vigie.

This second outfit included a more blatant nod to Princess Grace, who was famous for her elegant style both as an actress and as a member of Monaco's royal family.

In a photo shared by the Prince's Palace on Facebook, Casiraghi is seen wearing a stunning Cartier diamond necklace her grandmother received as a wedding gift.

With her gown's cinched-in silhouette and her hair rolled back into a bun, the newlywed's overall look was very Old Hollywood—a fitting choice, given her ancestry.

Casiraghi isn't the only royal bride in recent memory to channel Grace Kelly on her wedding day.

After her wedding last October, Princess Eugenie revealed her Zac Posen blush-coloured reception gown was inspired by one of the actress' most iconic looks.

"I wanted something reminiscent of Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief,” Eugenie explained in a recording for a gallery exhibition of her wedding outfits.

"So I showed that for reference and Zac came up with this silk that he’d found from Manchester."

Casiraghi, who is eleventh in line to the Monagesque throne, became engaged to Rassam during a family ski trip in March 2018.
