It seems we can't go two weeks without a royal wedding—and this weekend's will be an extra special affair.

On Saturday, Charlotte Casiraghi, the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, will marry fiance Dimitri Rassam at the Princely Palace of Monaco, Hola magazine has revealed.

As if saying "I do" isn't enough cause for celebration, it's believed the couple will also baptise their seven-month-old son, Balthazar, on the same day.

The choice of venue has special significance for the bride-to-be, as it's where her grandparents, mother, and two brothers held their weddings.

Casiraghi, the eldest daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, will wed Rassam in a civil ceremony in one of the palace's staterooms, with a private luncheon to follow.

It's thought the pair will arrange a second, bigger celebration at a later date.

The confirmation of the wedding date comes just four months after reports emerged that the couple had called off their engagement entirely.

That claim was recently hosed down by Casiraghi and Rassam in a statement, according to Hello.

The soon-to-be wed couple, whose romance is believed to have started in late 2016, welcomed their first child together in October.

Born at Monaco's Princess Grace Hospital, Balthazar is the second child for each parent; Casiraghi and Rassam have a son and daughter, respectively, from their previous relationships.

News of the couple's wedding plans emerged in March 2018, when Casiraghi, 32, was spotted wearing an engagement ring at a charity event in Monte Carlo.

It is believed the proposal took place during a ski holiday in Austria, and that the couple postponed their wedding to come after their baby's birth.

Casiraghi is eleventh in line to the Monagesque throne, and has worked as a writer and magazine editor, as well as competing in equestrian events.

She is often spotted at fashion events, and recently attended the 'Notes on Camp'-themed Met Gala in New York.

Rassam is a film producer and the son of French actress, Carole Bouquet.

Their nuptials come a fortnight after the most recent 'royal wedding', that of Queen Elizabeth II's second cousin.
