Members of the British royal family have arrived for the traditional Easter Sunday Mattins service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

The royals were out in full force for the annual Easter event, with King Charles III and wife Camilla, Queen Consort, leading the charge.

This service marks the monarch's first major public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer in February 2024.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, and husband Prince William, along with their three children, noticeably did not attend the service after she was also diagnosed with cancer.

Plenty of other senior royals and key members of the British monarchy, however, were in attendance this year.

All eyes were on the royals at the Easter Sunday service, but one palace staffer also turned some heads.

Lieutenant Colonel Johnny Thompson is King Charles' equerry, and has become rather famous among royal watchers thanks to his "dashing" looks.

Thompson joined the royals at Windsor Castle in what is now quite a rare appearance for him.

The "hot equerry", as he's known online, moved into a less public role at the end of last year.
