The royal rule Kate and William always break
Prince William and wife Kate are some of the most dutiful royals, always appearing polite and attending public engagements with a smile on their face. In fact, it’s often William’s brother Prince Harry that’s known as the cheekier royal, thanks to his more outgoing personality and tendency to make jokes in public.
However, the couple aren’t complete angels, as there’s one royal protocol rule that they break every time they travel abroad as a family: they take the same plane.
A code of conduct set by the royal family reportedly states that direct heirs to the throne (we’re looking at you; William, George and Charlotte) are forbidden from taking the same plane. The rule was reportedly set in place in case there was an accident on a flight.
