Woman's hilarious reaction to internet rainbow Christmas tree fail

Christmas trees in the colours of the rainbow are the latest festive trend.

However, in America, many customers are not getting the spectacular-looking trees they thought they'd ordered.

US woman Queen Shaydonna Haynesworth snapped up a rainbow tree after seeing an advert on social media.

She paid $50... but was left disappointed by what arrived, and her reaction video has gone viral.

Rather than the lavish, brightly-coloured festive tree depicted in the photos, she received a coloured twig that looked a bit like a feather duster. The stand was also missing a leg.

Luckily, she saw the funny side.

"Yo, this is the rainbow Christmas tree? Yo! This is the Christmas tree I ordered off the internet?" she said in a video.

"Like seriously? Who is responsible for this? The worst thing I've ever seen in my whole life."

Haynesworth told US TV network WMAR 2 she loved everything rainbow, which is why she snapped up the tree.

She didn't bother to contact the company for a refund, though.

Another disappointed rainbow Christmas tree shopper also shared the upsetting result of her order.

Brianna Sentell ordered a spectacular-looking tree, but she was sent a tacky plastic twig that fell to pieces.

Experts have warned things you buy on the internet are not always what they appear, and with retailers often based overseas, getting a refund can be impossible.
