Liechtenstein's Princess Marie Caroline weds Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer in stunning ceremony
In the biggest royal wedding of the year, Liechtenstein's Princess Marie Caroline has wed Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer in a stunning ceremony.
The 28-year-old royal said "I do" to her businessman husband, 34, at the Cathedral of St Florin in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.
The bride looked simply stunning in her traditional white wedding gown, featuring frilly sleeves at her forearms, a sheer panel across her décolletage, lines of lace patterns all throughout her gown and a long cathedral veil, extending down the stairs of the church.

In photos, we can see the Princess went with a soft and simple bridal makeup look, with monotone eyeshadow, blush on her cheeks, a berry-toned lip, and her hair in an updo.
Though she is not in line for the throne, she wore a stunning tiara alongside her veil.
She entered the church with her father, Hereditary Prince Alois, with the pair turning back and smiling and waving to the fans and well-wishers, her movement creating a breathtaking photo when her veil twisted mid-air.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds emerged with huge smiles on their faces as they greeted the crowds.

The groom wore pinstriped blue pants, a matching patterned tie, a cream waistcoat and a black jacket.
The couple were giddy with happiness, with the groom planting a kiss on his new wife's forehead before they shared a kiss for the crowds.
The wedding was a regal affair, attended by many royals from across Europe.

They made sure to fill the summer wedding with colour with Princess Marie-Astrid von Liechtenstein, Princess Maria-Anunciata von Liechtenstein and Princess Margaretha of Luxembourg wearing vibrant shades of pink, green, and orange as they posed alongside their respective spouses, including Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein.
Princess Maria of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Archduchess of Austria continued the trend, wearing a purple floral print dress as she entered on the arm of Archduke Simeon of Austria.
Count Franz Clemens von Waldburg-Zei of Germany was delighted to be at the wedding, smiling widely.
The families of the bride and groom paired up for the ceremony, with the father of the groom, Francisco Maduro Vollmer, escorting the bride's mother, H.R.H Hereditary Princess Sophie, into the ceremony, while walking out with his own wife, Sofia Vollmer Maduro.

Princess Sophie wore a delightful pink floral gown and berry red hat, beaming on her daughter's big day. Her in-law decided to don a blue asymmetrical dress and matching hat for her son's big day.
The groom's sister Emilia Maduro Vollmer was escorted out on the arm of the bride's younger brother Prince Georg, while the groom's other sister Sofia Maduro Vollmer was escorted by the bride's older brother, Prince Joseph Wenzel.
The Princess also has another younger brother, Prince Nikolaus, who seemed to have attended solo.

The 28-year-old royal first announced the news of her engagement to her now-husband via a press release from the Liechtenstein royal household in October 2024.
"H.S.H. the Hereditary Prince and H.R.H. the Hereditary Princess von und zu Liechtenstein are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Princess Marie Caroline, to Mr Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer," it read.
The pair are based in London, with the royal working in the fashion industry and her groom working in investment management.
