It seems Prince George just wants to find one particular toy under the Christmas tree at Kensington Palace in a few weeks.

Prince William hand-delivered young Prince George's Christmas wish list to Santa while out and about in Helsinki on Thursday, as the royal continued his tour of Finland.

In the template filled out by the cute four-year-old, he had circled the option "nice" as opposed to "naughty", which Prince William confirmed was actually true.

Pleading the tot's case to Santa, Lapland's most famous resident, William reportedly told Father Christmas with a laugh: "But he’s been a nice boy, a nice boy".

Despite having lots of lines available to write a long list of wants, Prince George only had the one - and made sure to write it in the centre of the page.

The third-in-line to the British throne simply wanted a police car.

"He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably ok," William said.

Prince George signed off the letter without his royal title in front of his name.

The Duke of Cambridge was travelling solo on the short tour but clearly still had his kids front of mind.

Pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was originally set to join her husband but Kate Middleton changed plans after the announcement of her third pregnancy and stayed in London with the couple's two children - with George in school now.
