Police post suspect's selfies on Facebook to try to find her

Police searching for a woman suspected of aggravated robbery are posting her selfies on Facebook in the hopes it will lead to her arrest.

Texas woman Megan Boutler, 25, is wanted by police on charges of aggravated robbery and child endangerment, New York Post reports.

Police have now taken matters into their own hands, posting 10 of her selfies on social media, showing a range of hairstyles, makeup choices and goofy faces.

They hope the images could lead to her arrest, after she eluded authorities earlier this month.

“Here some more pictures of Boulter with her hair in different styles and colors,” the department wrote on its Facebook page.

“She is believed to be hiding out and moving between Kaufman, Van Zandt and Dallas County with the help of a male friend," the post read.

Boulter was allegedly spotted shoplifting at a Walmart in Kaufman, Texas as she shopped with her five-year-old daughter, police officer Edward Black told the Houston Chronicle.

She allegedly then tried to run over a loss prevention officer twice with her car before leading police on a 140-kmh chase with her daughter in the car.

Black said the selfies had caught people’s attention but had not yet led to her arrest.

“She’s actually pretty popular in this area,” Black said. “We’re one step behind her. I hope she comes in before she gets anybody or herself hurt.”
