A girl’s photo of a dress that won’t fit has gone viral for a great reason

Almost everyone has that bag (or ten…) of clothes in their wardrobe that don’t fit like they used to, but most of us wouldn’t dream of taking a photo while trying to squish into them. For Lucy Litman though, a dress that wouldn’t zip was a chance to share some body positivity with the world.

Litman took a pic of herself in a dress that no longer fit and shared it to her Instagram with a beautiful caption. The super-relatable post has since gone viral, with thousands of comments flooding in praising her uplifting message.

In the post, Litman is wearing a patterned dress with a side zipper. She explains in the caption that the dress is a US size 2, and used to be her favourite, but unfortunately no longer fits her. It’s this caption that people are loving – she doesn’t bemoan the loss, she takes the opportunity to explain that she won’t let a zipper dictate her happiness.
