Even Oprah Winfrey follows this one wedding guest rule

After attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding in May, Oprah Winfrey has spoken out about the one wedding guest rule she swears by – and how she almost broke it.
In an interview with British Vogue, the talk show queen opened up about how she nearly committed the cardinal sin of wearing white as a wedding guest.
Just two days before the royal union, Oprah discovered that her custom cream dress by Stella McCartney looked white.
“[It] looked white, not cream,” she said. “I googled, ‘Can you wear white to a wedding?’ Answer: ‘No, don’t risk it’,” she told the UK magazine.
Not wanting to make a right royal gaffe, the 64-year-old had the designer redo the ensemble in light pink.
