Model Olivia Molly Rogers, 31, has shared a health update after a recent cancer scare.

"A little update for those following along," she began her health update for her 302,000 Instagram followers.

Rogers shared a black and white photo of what appeared to be her laying in a hospital bed with her face covered by the text update.

"I got my results back from the biopsy (from my colonoscopy last week) and I'm in the clear," she continued.

"I am so relieved and grateful," she added with a prayer hands emoji.

"I've been anxiously waiting all week trying not to overthink what could have been."

"Turns out I have polyposis and I will need to have yearly colonoscopies for the forseeable future, as it significantly increases my rise of developing bowel cancer," the model revealed.

Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is "an inherited bowel cancer syndrome" according to Cancer Institute NSW.

"It is just something I need to stay on top of & I am grateful to be able to do so," she wrote.

The model then signed off her update by telling followers she is "happy" to share a gastroenterologist recommendation for those in Melbourne.

Rogers has been very transparent about her health struggles in the past, including her mental health battle with body image and an eating disorder.

Earlier this year, the model opened up about being self conscious after facing "negative comments" about her legs while working in the modelling industry.

"They were my biggest insecurity for the longest time and something I struggled with enormously during my eating disorder," she wrote to her Instagram story.

"Looking at them was triggering for me for a long time," she said, adding that she deleted many photos from that time as they were "painful to look at."

The style icon has also dealt with anxiety over the years.

In July 2023, the model spoke to 9honey about her decision to quit alcohol after claiming she would experience anxiety from drinking.

"I got really bad anxiety after drinking, and that was a big reason why I wanted to have a break from it, because for me, it wasn't just the day after," she shared.
