Billy Brownless’ wife Nicky brings daughters to Oaks Day

Nicky Brownless enjoyed a girls’ day with her children Lucy and Ruby at Oaks Day in her first public appearance since she and husband Billy announced their split.
The mum of four brought her two eldest children, Lucy, 21, and Ruby, 19 to Flemington, saying “I’m happy to be here with the girls today,” before admitting that she’s “so proud of them”.

Lyon, 50, announced he would be taking leave from his role on the hit show, confirming he had been battling depression for several months.
Meanwhile, Billy explained on television he had confronted the couple over a “hunch” that something was going on.
Nicky recently spoke of how proud she was that her daughters have managed to stay “grounded” during what was a difficult period.
She said, “I love that with the girls it’s what’s going on the inside that matters.”

Mother-of-four Nicky reportedly splits her time between her home in Geelong, where son Oscar, and 13-year-old Max, are at school, and Lyon’s home in Melbourne.
