Neighbour's 'sex in the building' note receives surprise response
A neighbour's "sex in the building" note has received a surprise response after being shared on Facebook.
The note is addressed to a couple who seemingly enjoy loud sex, with little thought given to those who can hear them. A copy of it has been shared on the 'Bondi Local Loop' Facebook page by a building resident.
The note reads: "When you have sex, keep the noice [sic] down. we hear you and the neighbour buildings."
It ends with the cryptic phrase: "Sex in the building."

"What say to that?" one commented.
Another said: "I couldn't get past the grammar to fully enjoy this."
"You should post it in a Facebook group so everyone knows you're getting a bit," said another. "It's noice."

Notes warning neighbours over loud sex are commonplace in cities where much of the population lives in cramped apartment buildings and unit blocks.
Earlier this year a resident received a note informing them their sex sessions could not only be heard, but could also be seen.
A copy of the note has been shared by the woman's friend on Reddit's 'Funny' thread with the description: "My friend got this concerned note through her letterbox this morning."
"Dear No. 40. I'd imagine you value your privacy in those rather intimate moments in life, but can I humbly suggest that you make extra preparations to ensure your silhouette is not projecting through your curtains showcasing 'the grand finale'," the letter read.
This note was shared on Reddit in January. Reddit
It was signed, "Kind Regards, a thoughtful neighbour."
"Yeah a heads-up is usually welcome. Once had a neighbor with benefits and she was mortified when I told her I had seen her nude before our first time cause of the s---ty windows/curtains situation.. but it just happens, accidentally," they wrote.
"It's very nice to take time and let someone know! Unusual, even."
Another commented: 'My curtains are really sheer too. I couldn't be bothered to change them, though I should."
