'I imagine you value your privacy': Neighbour's note about couple's accidentally public sex life
A woman has received a note from a neighbour informing her that her private life isn't so private after all.
A copy of the note has been shared by the woman's friend on Reddit's 'Funny' thread with the description: "My friend got this concerned note through her letterbox this morning."
"Dear No. 40. I'd imagine you value your privacy in those rather intimate moments in life, but can I humbly suggest that you make extra preparations to ensure your silhouette is not projecting through your curtains showcasing 'the grand finale'," the letter read.

It was signed, "Kind Regards, a thoughtful neighbour."
It can be assumed from the note the "thoughtful neighbour" can see the couple in question, but cannot hear them, begging the question: Why are they looking at their neighbour's silhouette long enough to witness "the grand finale" as they describe it?

Redditers agree, with one commenting: "It's also nice to know they watched. 'Dear Number 40… signed, a fan.'"

Others spoke about their own accidentally sheer curtains and thought the neighbour was doing the couple next door a favour.
"Yeah a heads-up is usually welcome. Once had a neighbor with benefits and she was mortified when I told her I had seen her nude before our first time cause of the s---ty windows/curtains situation.. but it just happens, accidentally," they wrote.
"It's very nice to take time and let someone know! Unusual, even."
Another commented: 'My curtains are really sheer too. I couldn't be bothered to change them, though I should."

"Little do they know, I'm an exhibitionist and it was part of the plan all along," one person joked.
Others shared similar stories of public shaming.
"When I was 23, first time living alone with a girlfriend, we got a note in our apartment mailbox asking us to keep it down," one recalled.
