Mother-in-law calls bride a 'tramp' in nasty wedding invitations

A bizarre wedding invitation is doing the rounds, making headlines for its outrageous language and sheer cheek.

The invitation appears to be the creation of the groom's parents and we're thinking this mother-in-law is one to be avoided at all costs.

Firstly, the bride-to-be is called a "tramp".

The invite reads: "You are regretfully invited to the wedding between my perfect son, The Doctor, and some Cheap Two-Bit Tramp, whose name escapes me right now".

The next line reads, "the biggest disaster in my family's history will take place at 9pm on Saturday September 8 and will no doubt end in divorce.

"The overwhelmingly disappointing heartbreak of a ceremony will be followed by dinner, where nuts will be served because whatsherface has an allergy".

Right.

We're thinking the invitation is written in jest as, surely, people can't be this mean.

The nasty invitation was posted to Reddit under the title, 'wedding invitation from a mother who is upset about the wife her son has chosen'.

That's the understatement of the year!

We wonder if the bride and groom weathered the storm or if the mother-in-law did indeed get her way…
