Supermarket Sleuths: Last-minute and affordable Mother's Day gifts you can get from the supermarket
It's Mother's Day this Sunday
For this week's Supermarket Sleuths I visited my local Aldi, Coles and Woolworths stores to check in on on their last-minute and affordable Mother's Day gift options.
Two out of the three have gone all out when it comes to setting up dedicated sections with incredible potential gifts.
One was a little disappointing, but after walking up and down each and every aisle I was able to find some awesome and affordable gifts every mum would love.
Here's the best of them, starting with Aldi which had these Mother's Day cards for $1.99, the cheapest of the three supermarkets I visited, compared to Coles and Woolies where they cost anywhere from $5.

Aldi has the most affordable Cadbury Roses at $8.99, with Coles and Woolies price-matching each other at $9.
Aldi's Special Buys section doesn't disappoint when it comes to their Mother's Day range, starting with these cute and comfy PJ sets for just $12.99.
As someone who is attempting to grow her own herbs and tomatoes as we speak, I think this would be a perfect gift for Mother's Day for mums living in smaller homes such as units and apartments.
These Gardenline Raised Vintage Planter tub sets are selling at Aldi for $49.99.
Then there are these super-cute 4-Way Hanging Basket Tree sets which could be used in or outdoors.
Aldi is selling them for $12.99.
Or if you are after something smaller for your pland-loving mum you could choose this Belavi Tea Cup Planter for $16.99 which suits a single, indoor plant.
For coffee-lovers you can pick up at Crofton Coffee Capsule Stand for mum for just $14.99 which will provide a perfect solution for all those boxes of capsules accumulated on benchtops and in cupboards.
This is a gift I would be so happy to receive. An Ambiano 2-in-1 Churro $ Waffle Maker for $29.99.
This would also make a perfect breakfast for mum!
Or maybe Mexican is more your mum's style. You can buy her a Mexican Fiesta Sizzle Dish, which is cast iron and selling for $14.99.
Aldi has some amazing cookbooks on sale in the Special Buys section including this Women's Weekly classic for $19.99.
