"These bags are designed for life beyond the supermarket – think picnics, work commutes, or a day out at the beach – as they're functional and durable for everyday use.

"And importantly, they solve a challenge for some shoppers who have a larger number of items in their basket to checkout: they click open and stay open, making packing even easier, which is a solution we know some of our customers using self-checkout and trailing Scan & Go have been asking for."

The new Click & Stay reusable bags join Woolworths' full range of reusable bags, found both in-store and online, catering to all shopper needs with options such as the everyday Green Totes, Chiller Bags, Art Bags, and the recently launched foldable 'fruit' Fabric Bags.

Woolworths expanded its roll-out of digital Scan & Go digital supermarket trolleys in July 2025 after a successful initial rollout in 2024.

Shoppers who are part of Woolworths' Everyday Rewards program can unlock a tablet-style device from a charging wall at the front of the store and attach it to their trolley to start shopping.

The device allows shoppers to scan their items as they go, and pay at a Scan & Go check out.
