Mike Tindall gives Meghan Markle royal seal of approval

Mike Tindall, husband of Zara Phillips and former England rugby star has openly given his seal of approval for Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

The 38-year-old, who faced mass public scrutiny when he married the Queen’s granddaughter Zara in 2011, says he’s confident the actress will be “absolutely fine” with the intrusion that comes from being involved with the royal family.

Speaking to Sunday People, Tindall said:

“It comes with a lot of history and the family that it is. It’s obviously nerve-racking.

“But she has been under enough scrutiny and pressure in her day-to-day life so I’m sure she will get through it. She will be fine.

“As long as they are both happy that’s all that you can ask for. She’ll do absolutely fine.”
