Michelle Obama shares family photo showing a very grown up Malia and Sasha
Michelle Obama has shared a family photo to Instagram for Thanksgiving.
Although photos of the former First Daughters aren't extremely rare, it has been a while since the public have seen the girls, as Sasha finishes high school and Malia settles into life at university.
And from this new image, one thing is clear — the two girls have blossomed into beautiful young women since the family left the White House in 2017.
The duo have grown up largely in the public eye with Malia just six years old and Sasha only three when their dad ran for Senate.
They were aged 10 and seven respectively when Barack became US President in 2008.
Though it was only posted today, the snap was actually taken back in May, according to People magazine.
They say the family photo was taken as Sasha, now 18, headed to her high school formal and her big sister, now 21, was home from Harvard University at the time.
Michelle captioned the shot: "From our family to yours" and added the hash-tag "Happy Thanksgiving".

Barack also shared a photo for Thanksgiving, showing the family volunteering at a shelter.
"Today, we give thanks for our blessings, give back to those around us, and enjoy some time — and turkey, and maybe a little football — with the ones we love," the former US President told fans.
"From the Obama family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving."
It's the family's third Thanksgiving since President Obama left office.
