The #MeToo campaign now feels like a watershed moment in history
In a perverse way, I want to thank Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. If you’ve been living under a rock, he’s been accused of sexually harassing more than 30 women over three decades.

Actually no, scrap that. That man’s offensive behaviour is the cause of this feminist shift, but the true thanks goes to a couple of brave women who actually stood up and made the first accusations. They are even now honoured on the cover of

And so they should be, from that an international awareness campaign was born with the hashtag #MeToo going viral. Millions of women took to social media and spoke about their own cases of sexual harassment.

Next thing you know it’s trickled down under and the like of Don Burke have been accused of similar behaviour. And more heads look ready to roll.

The response was incredibly positive from women. I even had one or two positive responses from men but then a barrage of men saying I was jumping on the bandwagon. So it begs the question; “Is a hashtag enough?”
