Men show their girlfriends the last porn they watched

Watching porn with your partner is nothing new, but sharing the sordid details of the last erotica you viewed alone with your other half would leave most people red-faced.

Four men have done just that — and the results are as hilariously awkward as you might expect.

Cosmopolitan filmed the exchanges between men and their girlfriends as they watched the porn together for a brutally honest sex feature.

There's laughter, disbelief and plenty of moments that will make you cringe. 

"I'm not sure what I'm going to see", one woman says as her boyfriend fiddles with his laptop. "I'm not expecting it to be anything insane".

She later reveals she thinks his choice of 'material' is "really weird".

Another says she estimates her partner watches porn "once a week", but his cheeky grin while taking a swig of Champagne suggests otherwise.

The film draws on a wider conversation about the difference between male and female arousal. It's widely believed that men are more visual, while women prefer role play-type fantasies. And Cosmo's experiment seems to back this up.

"Introduce the characters to me, don't go all the way straight into the middle of the book!", one girlfriend says.
