Meghan Markle has plenty to learn before she becomes a fully-fledged royal, but she’s just tackled her toughest test yet: a gruelling session with the Special Air Service (SAS).

The bride-to-be, 36, spent the weekend with Britain’s special forces unit at its headquarters in the Herefordshire countryside ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19.

Markle’s training, designed to teach her how to react in perilous situations like a terrorist attack or hostage situation, included a mock kidnap and live gunfire.

“Even though Meghan will have known the enemy was not real, I guarantee that she will have been petrified,” the source said.

“That’s why live ammo is used, so she knows what real gunfire sounds like should.”
